The Campaign


As well as being the first EchoMany client on both Twitter and Facebook – 20th Century Fox’s pioneering attitude towards intent-driven personalisation campaigns saw them being the first EchoMany client to launch our most advanced “Retweet to Remind” format yet.


By delivering multiple ‘Beats’ of personalised content in the 2 weeks leading up to the premiere of Alien: Covenant, the 8th movie in the series of Ridley Scott blockbusters. EchoMany would augment their campaign activity internationally across the UK, Span and Italy in multiple languages.

How It Worked

A call to action post from the @AlienMoviesUK Twitter account invites users to Retweet it in order to subscribe to receive exclusive film content in the run up to cinematic release.

Subscribers immediately receive a personalised image of a Covenant Crew ‘Patch’ with their name on it

5 further beats of personalised content are delivered at intervals over the following weeks, typically being released to coincide with other marketing activity (e.g. TV advertising)

Each video/GIF is delivered dynamically personalised with the subscribers’ name, and accompanied by links to cinema ticket purchase websites or other select webpages.
