The Campaign


Festival Republic wanted to encourage awareness of the release of Download Festival 2018 tickets via a Tag & Tell style Facebook campaign – But EchoMany was able to push this further by incorporating personalised videos into the mix.

How It Worked

Festival Republic posted a Call To Action post on the official Download Festival Facebook page, encouraging users to Tag the friends they want to go to Download 2018 with.

EchoMany then pulls through these comments into our web-based platform dashboard and runs the names through a moderation filter, before automatically rendering personalised videos.

The personalised videos are hosted on individual landing pages, along with “Share” buttons, “Buy Tickets” buttons and further information on the headliners for the festival. Links to these landing pages are sent as private direct replies to the users on Facebook.

Each video is dynamically personalised with the users’ first name and the first names of their tagged friends, to encourage further sharing.
