The Campaign

 

 

Trainline were experiencing an issue common of many travel operators; that the majority of the mentions and engagment around their social media presences were centered around negative feedback and customer complaints. Trainline wanted to highlight the numerous instances of positive engagement and feedback that they received from happy customers, and engage in some true, real time 1-2-1 conversations with those brand advocates who were organically promoting the brand. In addition, Trainline wanted to let people know that there was a new Trainline App available to download, which included e-tickets and other handy features that they might not be aware of.

How It Worked

The team at Trainline were able to monitor Twitter engagement with their brand using the online EchoMany dashboard, which pulls a live feed of Tweets via API

Our advanced search and stream functionality could pull through live feeds of multiple queries, e.g. @trainline, #trainline or just ‘Trainline’ as well as setting exclusion filters for undesirable

Alternatively, the team could simply type in the URL of the Tweet they wished to engage with and it would be pulled through into the dashboard.

With the click of a button, EchoMany would automatically render a video, personalised with the users’ name and Tweet text and queue it up for checks before posting.

Trainline could then edit the reply Tweet copy that would accompany the video before sending it directly from the EchoMany dashboard as a native Twitter reply from the @Trainline account.
